Castan in Angoulême

Doing a comic-book sketching session is something. Doing it for the first time at a festival like Angoulême is a another. It's quite… stressful to say the least ^^'. But hopefully, I was blessed to have very comprehensive and patient people in front of me, and every thing went smoothly ! :)

So, here is a quick review of the sketching sessions for Castan Vol.1 at the international Comic Book Festival of Angoulême :

For my first sketch, I had the honor to do a drawing on the theme of marriage.

I would've love to put more time in each drawing, but it's quite impossible because a lot of people is generally waiting for you ^^'…

Sometimes, people have quite interesting demands :

And I can't also forget to mention the incredible opportunity I had when I first met in real life, Bobby Chui and Kei Acedera, founders of Scholism and Imaginism Studios !!

Bobby kindly proposed me to sit behind his table so I can do a sketch for him.

Of course, I didn't forgot to have my own sketch form him, and Kei very happily took a picture of us :D !

Yeah, it was a pretty amazing experience ! Hopefully I'm coming back next time for Vol. 2 ;)
